Maryland’s Highest Court Says Bah Humbug!

It is Christmas eve, and I would really rather be spending time with my family right now, but this is just too important to NOT inform everyone.

In an incredibly asinine ruling, the Maryland Court of Appeals (Maryland's version of the Supreme Court) said yesterday that YOU face the loss of your license for 45, 90, 120 days or more for no other reason than you have a 'moderate odor of alcohol' on your breath. The Court said that it does not matter that the police officer has no other evidence against you.

I apologize for this being such a short post, but next week, I'll get into a deeper analysis of this shocking new development in the erosion of your Constitutional rights here in Maryland. Until then, at least I want to wish you a safe and Merry Christmas!
